Hole 01

Sternauto

  • Par4
  • Handicap11
  • Length Men304 m
  • Length Ladies277 m

To begin your round, you play a Par 4 that drops towards the green in two large tiers after a distance of approx. 160 m. The indicated slope tapers off slightly to the right. For long hitters, a wide fairway bunker is placed after the slope. A shallow greenside bunker is situated in front of the green on the right side.

CAUTION — the second shot to the green can easily be played with one club less (e.g., one iron less). On the left side of the green, the slope drops sharply and is densely planted with trees. On the right side of the green, there is a steep side-slope bordered by the maintenance path. On both sides, the ball is extremely difficult to find if it goes beyond these limits.

The green slopes only slightly to the right — pay attention to the grass growth. It becomes dry and hard quickly.

Hole 02

Pentagon Immobilien

  • Par3
  • Handicap17
  • Length Men140 m
  • Length Ladies129 m

This hole, preferred for the "nearest to the pin" special competition, is protected by a fairway bunker and two greenside bunkers on the left and right.

The tee shot must be as precise as possible. Even if the ball lands on the apron/fringe, it has the chance to roll onto the green. Since the green is often played with a high approach, strong winds should be taken into account.

The relatively large green is only open to the front. The side and rear boundaries are small rising slopes. Particularly for pin positions behind the greenside bunkers, the shot should be calculated slightly longer.

Hole 03

Mikromat GmbH

  • Par5
  • Handicap3
  • Length Men488 m
  • Length Ladies444 m

This Par 5 is characterized by the out-of-bounds area running to the left of the tee, as well as the plantings that serve as a separation from the "Sparkassen-Hole."

With a drive of 200 m (men), the ball lies above the dip leading to the cross-running creek (marked with yellow stakes). The 150 m marker is located before the creek. The greenside bunkers on the left and right are dangerous if the approach to the green is too short.

The green is very long and features a large tier. Please note the pin position, as putting from one tier to another is very difficult in terms of holding the line.

Hole 04

Autoklinik Bär

  • Par4
  • Handicap1
  • Length Men425 m
  • Length Ladies345 m

Ranked as handicap index 1, this Par 4 is long and not easy to play, even with the downhill slope. The tee shot should not be excessively long, as the hole is crossed by the lake from the left.

The 150 m marker is located in the hollow. With good ball placement, the green can be reached with an excellent second shot.

However, caution is advised when approaching the green: behind it, the embankment drops sharply, and the chance of finding the ball in the heavy rough is slim. Playing a provisional ball is advisable if you have the impression the ball took an awkward bounce or ran over the green.

Hole 05

Baumpflege Neumann

  • Par5
  • Handicap5
  • Length Men455 m
  • Length Ladies423 m

This hole presents itself as a long and steep Par 5. Not only does the lake in front of the tee interfere psychologically, but there is also the rising slope where the drive should land on the crest. A long fairway bunker is placed in the landing zone on the left; at the same level on the right side is water, which can certainly be reached by long hitters. The second shot towards the green then requires a distance of over 200 meters to play for birdie, and the dangers of the two greenside bunkers should not be underestimated.

The fairway rises slightly toward the green, and if the ball does not fly straight to the green, it bounces all too easily to the right. If you approach the green from the right side of the fairway, keep the out-of-bounds in mind.

The green itself is flat and enclosed on the left and back by a small rising slope.

Hole 06

Richter Bauelemente

  • Par4
  • Handicap9
  • Length Men346 m
  • Length Ladies328 m

A classic dogleg left with a fairway bunker for those players who want to take a shortcut. Caution is advised when intending to play over the plantings. This and the subsequent area are OUT OF BOUNDS. The drive would need a length of around 250 m and must not deviate from its line.

The green slopes forward and is protected by a shallow bunker. If the approach is too long or the ball does not check up early enough, it can run into out-of-bounds at the back left edge.

Hole 08

  • Par3
  • Handicap15
  • Length Men135 m
  • Length Ladies122 m

The incline of this Par 3 hole should not be underestimated. The ball must stay in the air as long as possible to avoid being swallowed by the bunker.

The green slopes toward the front left. On the right side of the green is a small mound, which makes putting very difficult if it lies on the line between the ball and the pin.

Hole 09

Küchenzentrum Dresden

  • Par5
  • Handicap13
  • Length Men444 m
  • Length Ladies387 m

A challenge for long hitters. The tee shot should be aimed at the directional pole on the opposite side. The ball rarely runs out far on the fairway, as the slope acts as a brake.

With a very long drive, the green is reachable with the second shot. Keep slightly to the right, as the fairway slopes to the left. If you have the opportunity, verify the pin position.

Hole 10

pro:med

  • Par4
  • Handicap8
  • Length Men332 m
  • Length Ladies320 m

For a tee shot in the 180 m range (men), note that the slope falls slightly to the right. The ball bounces very easily and only too often ends up in the old greenside bunker on the right side.

Out-of-bounds runs along the right side of the fairway and behind the old green, in each case behind the maintenance path.

The second shot to the green must be played from a side-hill lie over the water. Tip: Better to take one club more; there is plenty of room behind the green.

Hole 11

Glöckner Automobile

  • Par4
  • Handicap12
  • Length Men317 m
  • Length Ladies282 m

The forest is calling... as one might say if you intend to play the "tiger line" over the trees. A carry distance of over 200 m is required. If you are not absolutely sure that the ball made it — play a provisional ball.

When playing down the middle of the fairway, it is about 130 m to the green from the fairway bunker. Very well protected by bunkers, you should play a high approach to this uniform, round green.

Hole 12

Waltmann-BGV

  • Par4
  • Handicap2
  • Length Men399 m
  • Length Ladies353 m

The tee shot must be very precise and should land on the left plateau following the dip. This hole is particularly characterized by its strong slope to the right.

With two long and precise shots, you can reach the green — but it is better to accept a bogey here or a lucky point without taking risks.

From a distance of 80 m, the path rises again up to the flat green.

Hole 13

Schmidt Sicherheit & Service GmbH

  • Par5
  • Handicap4
  • Length Men431 m
  • Length Ladies400 m

The fairway slopes slightly to the left. Aim for the center of the fairway on the tee shot. The shot is optimal if the ball comes to rest to the left of the tree. The second shot goes over the hollow, and the opposite fairway then rises slightly.

Aim for the middle of the flat and level green. It is protected by the two front greenside bunkers on the left and right.

Hole 14

Oppacher

  • Par4
  • Handicap16
  • Length Men340 m
  • Length Ladies306 m

Aim for the middle of the fairway and then over the hill to the lower-lying green. But — go ahead and check the pin position first.

Look for alignment points and play a precise second shot toward the green, as there is a steep slope behind it that ends in a very dense forest area. This forest surrounds the green with its various slopes and bunkers on both sides.

Hole 15

Werbe Rupprecht GmbH — The Marketing Factory

  • Par3
  • Handicap6
  • Length Men185 m
  • Length Ladies152 m

The last of the forest holes requires a long, well-placed tee shot along the right edge of the woods — that is the optimal line. The tree on the left side of the hole is often a major nuisance. The green is defended by bunkers on the left and right.

Hole 16

Kastenmeier & Kempinski

  • Par4
  • Handicap18
  • Length Men306 m
  • Length Ladies256 m

Align your tee shot with the center of the fairway and play the next shot to the lower-lying green.

The hole slopes slightly toward the green — here, it is better to choose a shorter club and let the ball run onto the forward-sloping green. There is a slope behind the green.

The greenside bunkers on both sides leave a central corridor.

Hole 17

HPO Qualitätsmanagement und Beratung

  • Par3
  • Handicap14
  • Length Men174 m
  • Length Ladies165 m

This Par 3 plays "longer" due to the uphill climb, meaning you can take one club more than you would normally use for this distance. The green is well defended with a bunker on both the left and right. There is also another bunker behind the green to the left.

The green is elevated and therefore not directly visible from the tee. Pay attention to the pin position and wind direction.

Hole 18

Wohnweise — Einrichtungshaus

  • Par5
  • Handicap10
  • Length Men444 m
  • Length Ladies394 m

The tee shot should land in the lower third of the slope following the path. It will then have enough momentum to roll a good distance up the hill. Long hitters use the directional pole as their target, requiring a drive of 250 m or more. The hole is not long for a Par 5 but is very well defended by water.

The island green as the crowning conclusion of the round is considered the ultimate challenge and requires your full concentration once more.

If your tee shot is 30–40 meters past the path, a 9 or 8 iron is often sufficient for the second shot to lay the ball up in front of the pond.
